Shortly after announcing to the world that I had completed the milestone of having at least one copy of every language that LOTR had been translated into in April 2024, I received an email from John Mitchinson, a visitor to this site, asking if I had a copy of the Asturian translation. I had never seen any mention anywhere (including on Wikipedia) of an Asturian translation. I immediately placed an order for the two volumes that had already been published and they arrived in early June. What is surprising to me is that the first volume was published all the way back in 2020, but I hadn't seen anything about them for four years of actively looking for translations on a wide variety of websites.
