This is a 6-volume set consisting of The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and LOTR.  Volume 1 is The Silmarillion, Volume 2 is The Hobbit, and Volumes 3-6 are LOTR (basically in chronologial order with FR divided into two parts).  The series ჩემი რჩეული მსოფლიო ("My Favorite World") from Palitral contains Georgian translations of world literature where each author's works are arranged in consecutively numbered volumes.

These four volumes came in the best packing I have ever seen.  The books were individually wrapped in double plastic.  The four volumes were then wrapped in two more layers of plastic.  Around that was a tight casing of custom-cut 1/8-inch hardboard (not "cardboard", but wooden project-grade hardboard).  Another layer of plastic surrounded that.  The wooden box was then encased on all sides with 1 inch of tight-fitting styrofoam and the whole structure taped solid.  On the outside was a double sheath of plastic encased in black heavy-mil plastic and covered in packing tape.  It didn't weigh much more than the books, but it was a solid structure that I had to very carefully dissect, layer by layer, with a sharp knife, careful not to accidentally cut into the books, but continually surprised as there was yet another layer inside every layer that was peeled away.  It was the ultimate matryoshka packing job.

This set is one of those where FR is divided into two volumes.

The spines of the six volumes have the most elaborate spine art of any set in my collection.

ბეჭდების მბრძანებელი, Lord of the Rings (Georgian)

In the Fall of 2019 I had a student, Khloe Smith, in my on-line History of English class who had been an LDS missionary in Georgia.  I asked her if she still had any contacts in Georgia who might be willing to help me find the Georgian translation.  She put me in touch with her friend Alina Ambariani who kindly found the books, bought them, and mailed them to me.
